OUR BREAKFAST
For us breakfast is an important start to the day.
We therefore offer a buffet with specially selected sweet products: high quality, organic and local. Enjoy breakfast in the breakfast room, under the veranda or in the garden. And for just € 10.50 ( € 7.00 for children aged 5 to 12 – free for children under 4 years old). Continental breakfast served in your room at no extra cost
OUR RESTAURANT
Our restaurant perpetuates the know-how of “homemade” Basque and French cuisine.
We have kept the spirit of a family inn whilst offering a unique menu which is renewed at every mealtime by our chef. This formula enables us to provide fresh cuisine made on the day itself using high quality products: Saint Jean de Luz hake, Axoa (veal stew), local meat from Souraide …. Homemade desserts.
From mid-April to early November, you are free to choose either half-board or discover our cuisine from day to day.

Children are obviously welcome with a special rate for children aged 5 to 12 and free for children under 4 years old.
And of course we know how to adapt to everyone’s tastes and needs (salt free, gluten free, without fish, without meat ….)
OUR ECO-RESPONSIBLE APPROACH
The Hotel LES GOELANDS is an eco-responsible hotel which respects the environment.
A pioneer in tourism, we drew up our ecological charter back in the year 2000.
Our approach was rewarded in 2005 by the “GREEN KEY” label. We were one of the first 5 hotels in France to obtain this distinction and the first in the Basque Country.
Since then, we have been faithful to this label, constantly improving our actions in favour of the environment. We have been providing e-bikes to discover Saint Jean de Luz and the Basque Coast for several years now.
Since 2014 we have been a recognised GOLD ECOLEADER by Tripadvisor.
To choose the Hotel LES GOELANDS is also to act in favour of the Basque Country’s environment.
We support the Basque Coast’s Permanent Centre for Ecological Initiatives, as well as the bird rescue centre HEGALALDIA
It is a great pleasure for us for you to take part in this process. As an eco-tourist, don’t hesitate to recycle your documents, batteries, etc.
OUR PARKING
Our private car-park: a true plus in Saint Jean de Luz. More than elsewhere, parking in Saint Jean de Luz is a real headache
Once you arrive at the Hotel LES GOELANDS, park your car in our private car-park and enjoy Saint Jean de Luz and its beach by foot (300 m). And to discover the Basque Coast use our electric bikes!
Our car park have only 15 spaces. Acces to our car park is reserved in priority to our guests staying several days. We advise you to :
- For stay of 2 nights or + , reserve your parking space (12.00 e / day) when booking
- For 1 night stay, book your place by phone on your arrival day.
We can’t garantee you a parking place.
You may also park in adjacent streets free of charge.

OUR ELECTICAL ASSISTANCE BIKES
Hotel LES GOELANDS, the only hotel which provides electric bikes. To complement our eco-responsible approach, we provide our new electric bikes: an exclusive green offer in Saint Jean de Luz and the Basque Country.
To discover the Basque Coast, the electric bike is the ideal means of locomotion.
With 80km autonomy, you’ll be able to cruise along the routes of the Basque Country at your own pace.
Ride our bikes through the Basque countryside, stopping for a picnic by a stream or a cove with one of our picnic hampers. Enjoy!
At a max. speed of 30km/h, you’ll have time to take in the landscapes without getting caught up in the traffic.

YOUR LAUNDRY ROOM
Whether you are on a long family holiday or a stopover on a hike or bike ride, it is always very practical to be able to wash your clothes when you are on holiday.
We have therefore installed a laundry room reserved for our guests ,including washing machine, clothes dryer, sink, iron and ironing board.
We provide this service free of charge
This is also what the Hotel LES GOELANDS is all about: thinking of services to make our guests’ lives easier.
